No matter who you are, where you're from, what's on the table, as long as you're not hungry
Family dinner is one of those thanksgiving traditions where we gather around those we love, and we give thanks for who's around, on, and paying for the table. In current economic times however, it's hard not to notice that a dollar doesn't go as far as it did.
For some, it's not really a problem. As I was reading this article about Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry's latest escapade in one of Montreal's foremost fine dining establishment, it got me thinking : Sharing privileged time with fancy people, I mean, people we fancy and that fancy us, is just one of the very beauties of life. But what makes it special?
For some, it's the tradition of reminding ourselves who we are and what we are becoming. For others, it's just another day off, maybe also a day where we're not around the people we love, or with whom the relationship is more difficult.
Tell us about you : What was your thanksgiving like?
