Unless you live under a rock very far away from Toronto, you might have already heard that they knocked it out of the park.
As many news outlets are reporting, the Canadian team socked a dinger last night on game 1 of the world series, and at this point, all we can say is thank you, and Go Jays!
Update: And, because there's no world series without world class teams and competition, the Dodgers won game 2.
And, well, we're in it to win it, so, Update: The Jays won and are now one single win away from the World Series, and, boy is it ever one for the books !
The game lasted 18 innings - literally, two games - and set a plethora of records, historic firsts and has acted as a balm on everyone's spirits. The Jays culture buzz is thriving thanks to this uplifting news, and I can't think of anyone not looking forward to friday's game.
Will the Jays take it home? Will the Dodgers dodge that bullet? It's a riveting suspense when the bird is angry.

The thrilling piece by Gary Taxali, speaks to the vibe, and the sheer energy and passion people are currently channeling.
Go jays!
And, here we go again with another Update : Never heard of Soul Bear, but kudos on a stellar, technically solid and masterful performance - It made me proud to hear you in both languages.
And game 6 begins.
#Update #BlueJays #Worldseries #Baseball : Bottom of the third, 3-0 LA - Berger just did wonders on a play, as if he aimed right along the line and willed the ball to not come off the ground when LA's players tried to pick it up - twice.
And there you go - 3-1 Dodgers, as Berger came in after a single from Springer, who seems injured, but pulling through. 3rd innings ends.
#Update #bluejays #Baseball : 3-1 on top of the 5th, and Gausman is throwing with authority. Headed to the bottom of the 5th.
6th inning, Guerrero just knocked a double deep into the left field, with two outs, still 3-1.
And it's now bottom of the ninth, still 3-1, and everything's happening all at once - A dead ball just got caught in the fence, 0 outs and a man on 2nd and 3rd for the Jays - This just got very interesting.
And it's now 3-1 final for the Dodgers.
Welp, they went and played ball, eh.
